High hopes, but overall terrible experience. - Digital Marketing Consultant LocaliQ Employee Review

Pros

Nice offices, some reasonable technology and products, quite autonomous role, great training and trainer. Did I mention the nice view from the office?

Cons

Highly competitive market, having conversations that business owners are sick of hearing. Unnecessary on-road role for low ATV, same could be achieved using technology like hangouts with screen share - carbon footprint much? Very high turnover of staff, ~50% since I left the company earlier this year. I feel like there were some broken promises upon my exit also, just to top it all off.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We agree that the competitive marketplace can often make it difficult to have conversations with clients about their digital marketing. This is why we value the relationship our consultants build with their clients that sets us apart from our competitors, especially through regular face to face meetings. We are glad to hear you enjoyed aspects of your role such as training, autonomy and the office views, and we wish you all the best for the future.

Pros

Typically sales calls are virtual. Everyone is friendly and I was never micromanaged.

Cons

When you start here, it is difficult to learn due to most everyone working remote. You can't reach over to someone in the next cube/office and ask for help.

Pros

Direct managers really try and seem to care. Flexibility of work from home and PTO is the main benefits here.

Cons

Workloads continue to increase, changes passed down from the top of those that never talk to clients. There have been lots of changes recently. Most are not thought out and issues are NEVER ironed out before implementing. Upper-level management is completely disconnected from reality. Pay is on the low side. Struggling to pay bills on your salary? Jason Taylor(Chief Revenue Officer) suggests a second job or leaving. Annual pay increases? Particularly when the cost of everything has skyrocketed…. Nope. They don’t believe in pay increases.
