Thanks for the feedback. We’re glad you benefited from working alongside talented people and our positive culture built on shared values. We’re constantly meeting and brainstorming ways to think smart, keep it simple, and stay agile. We had a meeting yesterday with our MD, and there are some upcoming new approaches that we think will help us continue to build on our successful culture and commitment to invest in our people. We appreciate that whilst you were not satisfied with our leadership structure, you did work with some awesome people. We have a few objective thoughts about this. Our vision is to enable our people to be the best they can be, and support them in their continued growth and development with us. We’re proud of our success in this area, and choose not to debate a feeling, but would say that the people who grow their career at ReachLocal as Leaders are super impressive, and the list is long. I’m sorry you didn’t get a chance to grow your career with us, or experience the benefits of some of your relationships, but many others do, much more than other companies.

Pros

Typically sales calls are virtual. Everyone is friendly and I was never micromanaged.

Cons

When you start here, it is difficult to learn due to most everyone working remote. You can't reach over to someone in the next cube/office and ask for help.

Pros

Direct managers really try and seem to care. Flexibility of work from home and PTO is the main benefits here.

Cons

Workloads continue to increase, changes passed down from the top of those that never talk to clients. There have been lots of changes recently. Most are not thought out and issues are NEVER ironed out before implementing. Upper-level management is completely disconnected from reality. Pay is on the low side. Struggling to pay bills on your salary? Jason Taylor(Chief Revenue Officer) suggests a second job or leaving. Annual pay increases? Particularly when the cost of everything has skyrocketed…. Nope. They don’t believe in pay increases.
