Pros

Never thought I’d one day be a technical recruiter but it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have full control of how I want to spend my day and the kind of work I do. It’s a very flexible work environment and I love the 4-day work week we get. I love all my colleagues: everyone is intelligent, supportive, thoughtful and brings their own unique work and life experience to the role. Even when the day gets tough (cos hiring is hard work), I get the full support of the team and they make me love going to work everyday. The company is very generous. We get good budget for learning & development, as well as for equipments / hardware like phone and laptop etc. We’ve also been pretty spoiled with some very special team lunches and dinners.

Cons

Recruitment is hard work. The job comes with a lot of ups and downs, and at times it can be quite stressful. The support I get from my manager and colleagues does help in those stressful times.

Pros

The best job I've ever had. Wonderful company culture and values. Supportive team members and inclusive, welcoming environment. I love the culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Supporters of diversity, equity and inclusion. Generous annual leave, volunteer leave and parental leave policies. The company also supports various charities and causes via the Pledge 1% movement, and heavily supports, via volunteer time and sponsorship, various software development communities. My colleagues are the best and the work is challenging and rewarding! We're helping people with their careers, providing heartfelt advice and guidance, and building work class technology teams. What's not to love.

Cons

Champagne and razer blades! When things are going well (results-wise), you can feel on top of the world, but when things aren't going well, even if you've done all that you can, it can feel quite low. The supportive environment helps, but it is something to point out. It does help with building character and resilience though!
