      Pros

      Magnificent and Historical Art and Antiques primarily from the 18th and 19th Century. If you like history and beauty this is the best venue in the city. Also the diversity of the Art and Antiques is from all over the world. Also get to meet people from all over the world.

      Cons

      Company does not believe in work/life balance. 6 day work week and many mandatory special evening events throughout the year. Difficult to know who is in charge on any given day. Many bosses.

      Pros

      Many of the coworkers and mid-level managers are nice, The galley is beautiful. Its fun to be in the French Quarter. You learn a lot. The pay and benefits are better than a lot of places in New Orleans, but you'll EARN every penny of it through the sweat of your brow. The company will probably remain solid in this age of oligarchs.

      Cons

      They expect 24/7/365 availability. Your expected workload is beyond what any one person can do. No matter how hard you work, upper management thinks you are slacking. Nothing is ever good enough. And there is zero, absolutely zero, hope for advancement.
