Pros

Flexible with great opportunities. Good benefits, a bit of overload when I was signing up for benefits because I am not use to so many options but I liked being able to choose. 401K was simple to sign up for and is done through Fidelity which I like. Great training opportunities through tuition reimbursement, education partnerships, ManTech University, and included full SkillSoft membership. I have already been able to get additional training to hone my skills. ManTech has a good mobility program so you can apply for promotions at other locations or do a lateral if you need to move someone. They like to promote from within which I like.

Cons

None so far but have only been with the company for a few months.

Excellent working conditions, management doesn't try to micromanage their workers.

Cons

Pay is below average, but still decent. Raises are below average compared to other companies in the industry

Pros

- Large and well financed company supporting individual contracts. - Responsive administrative and IT support outside of individual team processes and resources. - Outside of standard medical/insurance benefits they offer tuition reimbursement with University partners, IVF planning and discounts, career development, and more. - Team/Contract dependent. (can be pro or con) In my case, my team and experience was great. Intelligent/sharp, organized, productive, supportive, and empathetic. - Pace can be slower for government contract work (again, contract specific, can be pro or con depending on your style.) - Allows for team autonomy. - Offers fully remote positions.

Cons

- Contracts can be short term (3-5 years) and are not guaranteed to be renewed. There's no guarantee you will transition to another contract or team. - Some contract funding may be affected by government shutdowns, or outright descoped (think DOGE) - Very team/contract dependent. (can be pro or con) - Pace can be slower for government contract work (again, contract specific, can be pro or con depending on your style.) - Not as nimble as a smaller company or startup can be.
