The work is interesting. The hours are flexible and the compensation is decent.
Cons
Management is completely inept. Full of ego driven narcissists with zero technical experience who think they are better suited than their developers to make technical decisions. And when those decisions inevitably lead to failure, they blame the developers to cover for themselves. Our team has saved them face with the customer numerous times, only to have our expertise ignored and be treated like code monkeys. We've been lied to, and disrespect while keeping this project afloat. They have been warned numerous times, but it's at the point where people are just leaving. Three people in our team of about ten have left in the past couple of weeks because of a ridiculous management decision that went completely against every developers recommendation. We are definitely going to lose more in the coming months and I wouldn't be surprised if 5-7 are gone by the summer. Everyone has lost all respect for management and they have proven to be completely untrustworthy.
