If you show bare minimum effort and never miss a day you’ve got job security, relatively easy work, paid lunch break, clean environment, water cooler, independent work
Cons
Repetitive work can be boring, long standing times hunched over so eventual back pain, management never takes accountability, there’s much conflict within management, pay isn’t great and no three month review, if you’re a woman on the factory floor you’re guaranteed to essentially never get promoted to anything and remain in the finishing department.
