Pros
Very adaptive business strategy and can transform its business models and portfolio as market demands. Really good customer service and maintains great relationship with customer base. For staff, there are a lot of opportunities to learn and try new things. The company does invest in staff training on sales, technical and soft skills. Unlike in some large companies, your ideas (the good one) really matter and hard work really pays off. Talent and results speak stronger than anything else at this company. There is a lot of possibility for personal growth. I have seen a technical staff becoming sales and then team leader, then a regional director all within 4 years. Salary is always paid before the end of the month. MD and CFO made sure of that so no one misses their credit card payments and they never missed a single one during the four years while I am here.
Cons
For any new joiner it will be an overwhelming experience. One needs to be very resourceful, learn fast, can take on new fields of expertise, be innovative in solving problems, keeping customers happy and in general be structured with planning but also flexible in execution. But people around you are intelligent and nice, while it can be challenging but you will also have a lot of help. You will be asked to do thing that you have never done before and maybe considered not part of your field. If you are afraid this may not be the right company for you.
