Pros

Not many to list. Very laid back job, no pressure what so ever. Work is remedial an unchallenging. Health insurance is good but the rest of the benefits are meh.

Cons

Future is questionable as the services are becoming obsolete. Company is too busy living in the past to move forward. Culture is toxic. There are so few "wins" here that when you do have a win there is a long line of people taking credit for your work. Nothing gets done here. Nothing. Projects that should take a couple of months take a year or more. Many project just never get off the ground. Company excels at failing. There are two classes of employees at this company. "Management" and "everyone else". And "everyone else" is treated pretty poorly. Poor hiring practices led to a string of problem managers, which the company then ignored. Pay is lower than market averages due to it's "not-for-profit" status. Career Path = I hope you like the cube they give you because you'll be there for a long long time. Promotions are rare. Benefits are ok, but the company believes they're amazing and untouchable. They're average. Vacation time is pretty low. Technology is amazingly lacking for a so called technology company. Web applications are straight out of 2000.

Pros

I have really enjoyed my experience working here. The team is highly collaborative, and there is a strong culture of supporting one another to achieve common goals. Communication is open and respectful, which makes problem-solving much more efficient. Work-life balance is also a clear priority. Leadership understands the importance of flexibility and encourages a healthy boundary between work and personal time. This creates a sustainable environment where people can do their best work without burning out.

Cons

Flat management structure can sometimes limit clear advancement paths Career progression may require more self-initiative since there are fewer formal layers of promotion
