Good company culture, family owned - Sales Representative MIDSCI Employee Review

Great company to work for! They take into consideration work-life balance which is something I wasn't used to coming into this opportunity. As a family-owned business there are awesome aspects of it and some that could use improvement. However, the owners are wonderful people who truly care about their team. We often get lunch brought in, we participate in team building activities, including a new foosball table! And family inclusive events such as our end-of-summer picnic. Ample training is available when needed and job advancement happens, specially when you put in the work. If you enjoy the flexibility of a family-owned business, with some elements of a corporation, this is the place for you.

Family owned- some resources are not a readily available as they should. Internal training and communication can use some improvement

-Decent flexibility with day. -Pay is decent. -Reporting is not burdensome. -Have some high quality product lines. -People are generally helpful.

-Hard to get straight answers from management. -Not much communication among management as they seem to have different directions depending who you ask. -Some employees bear the load while others do very little.
