Pros
Great people. Everyone is easy to approach and talk to, giving you access to a wealth of experience. Great community. All teams, though particularly the People team (HR), work hard to have everyone working together and taking pride in the company and their work. Great benefits. In addition to the free lunches that everyone will mention, they also offer a solid pension plan, health care, cycle to work scheme, travel loans, referral rewards, etc. Personalised perks. MOO give employees who've stayed for 2 years a felt doll doppelganger (Dollppelganger? sorry). Good pay. MOO significantly above average versus similarly titled roles... however, see cons
Cons
MOO have very high standards. MOO will hire people who have previously been senior or even lead but give them mid-level job titles. It's not necessarily a con however, my personal experience is: I applied for a senior role, was given a mid level title, but at a slightly above average pay than senior. I'm earning ~18k more than a senior at my previous employer. Progression is slow. Progression has been improved since I joined and there is now a formalised tiered system, however it's policy not to promote anyone within 12 months of joining.
