Pros
higher salary then market average. more opportunities to jump to government departments. considerate, supportive and smart teammates.
Cons
I worked in the property development department, where the work environment was toxic. The team operated with outdated practices reminiscent of the 1990s, refusing to streamline unnecessary processes. Senior management was often rude, and public shaming and personal attacks were common occurrences. Employees were treated poorly, as management believed that high salaries justified such behavior. One particularly distressing aspect was the expectation to work every Sunday night, reporting in early on Monday morning. Once selected for this task, refusing was not an option, regardless of valid reasons. The management would force anyone they didn't like to leave the company through mental harassment and undue pressure. Many employees, including myself, eventually left the company, even accepting pay cuts, due to the unbearable toxic culture.
