Pros
MachEye's mission to change the way people consume analytics & data is truly a gamechanger for how companies do business. I believe the market is overdue for a breakthrough and MachEye has the right idea of how to do that. The executives/management are kind people and care about career progression & supporting your goals.
Cons
The execs are strong on the product & engineering front but not as knowledgeable on the GTM side. Instead of focusing on saving money, they need a very experienced demand gen leader to come in, rebuild the entire sales & marketing program from scratch, and set the right process & KPIs. Also, MachEye doesn't have the typical "work hard play hard" Silicon Valley startup culture. Many people aren't based in the Bay Area so it's difficult to build team cohesion, and some team members expressed political opinions that were actively detrimental to culture. Also, we didn't have startup perks like offsites, holiday gifts, and swag - obviously these are not necessary but they do a lot to build team culture, especially with a remote team.
