1. Most toxic management you'll ever see. There was 4 rounds of layoffs in 2024 so you could get fired anytime.
2. Everybody is leaving because company is going downhill and their finances are in the worst shape. Their best engineers and most of the director & VPs have already left the company - including the directors of HR and product.
3. The CEO comes at engineers and asks if they're using the tools he personally wants for coding. (Yes, this really happens.)
4. HR often forgets to report people to their health insurance provider even when the employee pays the amount the entire time. Employees find themselves in a difficult position when they find out they weren't even added to their health insurance for months.
5. They watch you every second through the security cameras and badge logs. If you are late 10mins or if you leave 30 mins early, you immediately receive a warning in the most insulting way.
6. Morale in the company is bad. Very bad. Everybody hates working there (besides marketing), and everybody complains about HR & management decisions 24/7. This makes the environment very toxic.
7. They do absolutely nothing for their employees. No bonus, no perks, no events, no food. They expect you to think that you are blessed to work there.
8. They have more VPs, EVPs and directors an actual software engineers which is absolutely hilarious. They keep running around with their coffee mugs to look like they're doing something but most of them don't know how to turn on their laptops.
9. Every engineer is expected to perform the equivalent of three engineers’ work.
10. They have a Sri Lanka leg but they NEVER mention that in the interview process because they know you'll hate working with 10+ hour difference.
11. Most of the Sri Lanka engineers can barely do any decent work, so you'll have to babysit everything they do.
