Pros

Diverse Experience: You get to work with a variety of clients, industries, and problems, which helps you build a broad skillset quickly. Steep Learning Curve: The fast-paced environment accelerates your professional growth, often more rapidly than in-house roles. Networking Opportunities: You’ll interact with clients, senior professionals, and specialists—great for building a strong professional network. Exposure to Strategy and Decision-Making: You often work closely with leadership at client organizations, gaining insights into high-level business decisions

Cons

Long Hours: The workload can be intense, with late nights and sometimes weekend work, especially when deadlines are tight. High Pressure: Fast-paced projects, demanding clients, and tight timelines can create a stressful environment. Frequent Travel (for some firms): If your projects are client-site heavy, you might be on the road a lot, which can wear you down over time. Work-Life Balance: Can be tough to maintain, especially during busy periods or when juggling multiple clients. Lack of Ownership: Since you’re advising, not executing, you might not see the long-term impact of your work or fully “own” the outcome.

Pros

Great group of people to work with. You work five nine hour days (M-Th) and four hours every Friday.

Cons

Well, their test equipment is outdated for one thing. Communication between departments is very effective. Particularly between some key members in the Engineering dept. Meaning, sometimes they would follow-up on discussions regarding product defects but they aren't consistent. Also, if you're waiting to hear back from them, you may be waiting a while. However, there were meetings all the time, every day and yet still, people would not know what's going on or they were just in-effective. There was never a sense of urgency in the from that part of the company. Also, they have the worst suppliers I have ever seen and they're ruining the company's good reputation.
