Pros
Laid-back atmosphere (non-profit). Friendly co-workers, family environment. The area has seen recent developments. Walking distance from metro. Paid full medical and dental insurance coverage for everything. There are loyal employees who have been there for decades.
Cons
Salary is no where near market value. There was a salary freeze for a few years. Management's vision was stagnant at the time. I hear it has changed since then, hopefully for the better. 401K wasn't being matched for a few years. Heavily dependent on government grants, so the housing market crashing really impacted the organization. No room for growth.
