Cons

A lot of blaming and shaming from management who doesn’t even provide support! Training was terrible and the market isn’t easy to penetrate. Work was stressful and exhausting when you have to sacrifice all of your time!

I’m sorry you did not feel supported and had a bad experience. Not what we are looking to achieve with our team. You’re right in that we give a lot of independence in self management and setting your own schedules. That also may be why you felt let down by not enough support. We certainly can improve our training as we mature in the market, but is struggle with the balance between too much management and allowing high performers determine their own path. I have leaned more towards letting folks run forward with their own initiative. My goal is to be here as support and resource for them but not tell them what to do. I wish you the best in finding a role that fits with your style. I am disappointed it wasn’t here at Mapistry.

You will learn only one lesson here: how your ego can destroy the workplace ambience and how you can avoid it.

Cons

The ego of the founders was too fragile. These evil people fought amongst each other and made things awfully uncomfortable for the staff. Employees witnessed their aggressive and poor behavior almost every day. Some even feared talking to these horrible people. It ruined the workplace ambience and made day-to-day life ridiculously stressful.
