      Pros

      - the actual team on the ground are amazing people - friendly, welcoming and talented - the product and the product's mission is great

      Cons

      - the CEO. Justin is not a CEO and definitely can't be a CMO, CTO, Head of Product, Project Manager, Head of Production and Creative Director which is what he is currently trying to be. His communication style is rude and impulsive, often resulting in employees being offended. He has no respect for anyone in the organisation and does not trust anyone other than himself, hence the extremely high staff turnover. He is unable to commit to anything, resulting in ever changing product direction and deadlines - this is unsustainable and a huge waste of money for the business, and means employees are constantly frustrated. - the office location and layout is not conducive to productivity - a move has been on the cards for over a year but due to Justin's lack of ability to commit to anything still has not happened

Our company has just closed a large round of funding led by one of the most respected education companies in the world. As part of this new phase of the business which is scaling up for significant growth, management has set out to improve operational efficiencies within various areas of the business and that has caused some uncertainty. Although we have done everything we can to make this a smooth transition, unfortunately some people have been impacted. We value all our staff and feel our workforce is engaged and happy with the direction of the business. As an Emmy-nominated producer of TV grade kids education, our mission is to elevate the quality of educational content for home and school across the world. We suggest that any potential new hires reach out to someone on our staff for their perspective of the business and the impact we are having on young learners.

      Pros

      It's a great honor to work here in Marcopolo Learning. Everyday feels like a new day that I always learn something new about the world, the nature and ourselves. There're so many talented people who work really hard everyday and passionate about their jobs, thus, we have such an amazing product that kids around the world can explore and learn. It's always a pleasure to talk to designers and artists, we share and learn from each other everyday! Justin is an excellent boss, he helped me with my working visa so that I have the opportunity to work here in the US, even when I went through some really rough time during that time, he and HR provided all the support I need. Although the headquarter moved to London, the art team has been supportive to me the whole time. They tried everything they can to make sure that belong to the team, which I'm grateful for it! Since the company moved to London, all the projects that I've been working on have been creative, fun and educational. I see myself has grown up a lot from past few years, it was a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to some more incredible adventures.

      Cons

      Sometimes you may need to work on urgent tasks with strict deadline, it's quite a challenge, however, you will gain new skills and knowledge from these tasks.
