Pros
I have worked at this company for nearly 7 years. Great people and tons of learning experiences. I've worked closely with all C-levels and truly enjoy working with them. They are always open to feedback and I've brought ideas that have been implemented. Never met a CEO that cares more about the people at the company ... he spends his precious time coaching folks and helping them grow in their careers. Also, as a working mom with 2 young kids, the company has tons of flexibility that really works well for me. For example, flexible working hours, quarterly recharge days, 5 weeks PTO a year, paid maternity leave, remote working opportunities. Overall a great working environment where I've been able to grow in my career and my skill. Product is a leader in the industry and the cloud product in particular has some fantastic differentiation and a great user experience. With a $70b relational database market, the sky is the limit for MariaDB!
Cons
With over 300 employees, it's a relatively small group. There is of course a lot to do, which can be seen as a con or a pro depending on how you look at it. Lots of opportunities to do things you wouldn't typically be able to do and also influence things you typically wouldn't be able to at other companies.
