Cons
If you love feeling like you never left college and are back at the frat house, this place is for you. Upper management is all male and can’t seem to turn the page on their college days, with the females in the agency mostly being in all lower level roles. Lots of money spent on open tab happy hours but that money doesn’t show when it comes time for your annual review. If you feel you have anything to say to upper management at Markacy, don’t. Everyone’s either related or best friends. There isn't an HR to go to if you need anything, and so if you’re ever yelled at or spoken to inappropriately, there’s no one to tell safely. Career development plans are next to non-existent because chances are if you’re not ‘bros’ or related to the founders you won’t get too high up. The recent review here mentions lay offs. Since this, morale has been low with little to no work life balance.
