Pros
Markstein is excellent at finding great talent. Great relationships can be formed with good people. Beautiful office, glamorous benefits from the outside looking in. Most people who leave Markstein leave for a much better opportunity, whether going to a more prestigious company, role progression, or more fitting industry.
Cons
The leadership/direction of the company is stagnant and complacent. There is no clear career trajectory, raises and promotions are given on a whim with no clearly communicated ways to grow toward achieving them. There is a lack of transparency/authenticity in messages from leadership, and some members of leadership are unequipped and unqualified managers with no training.
