Pros
It's awesome to be able to take such pride in the product. The food and drinks are wonderful, and it's great to explain to guests what it means to work in a scratch kitchen. The training program really promotes extensive knowledge of the menu, the company's history, and the day to day operations. It's a great feeling to be so confident in my knowledge and skills on a daily basis. As far as money, the business is doing well and the money is consistent. They are constantly expanding and building a name for themselves.
Cons
Teetering on the line between family owned business and nation wide corporation. Feels corporate with uniforms coming in on a hanger, shoes can't have laces, minimal makeup and jewelry, etc. Currently have well over 1000 employees, so it's hard to not be just another part of the machine. Also, no available benefits unless you are a salaried employee. No health insurance, the maternity leave, no vacations, and no 401K.
