Pros

There are a lot of great things about GRAPH, especially when benchmarked against others in the same industry. Values: Strong set of core principles that are truly meaningful and actually upheld. Culture: Very flat structure, which helps contribute to the collaborative environment. Everyone is a peer and thought partner, regardless of title. Workload can be demanding, but it's at least similar to other consulting firms, and at GRAPH, everyone is in it together - that goes a long way, and speaks to the supportive culture. Opportunity: So much room to grow at GRAPH - incredible exposure to experienced clients, variety of work that keeps you learning, young company supporting everyone to contribute to it's future, sharp peers with a variety of backgrounds... the list goes on. I can't imagine where I'd be today without the experience I gained at GRAPH. Leadership: GRAPH's leadership is par none. What they've built to date would have taken others 2-3x the time, at least, and likely would not have been done as well. I think it can safely be said that partners of any consulting firm are bright, but those at GRAPH are a step above. Where they really stand apart though is their compassion and drive - it'd be hard to point a finger at another company with leadership that truly cares about the business, the people, and the clients as much as those at GRAPH do. People: Similar to leadership, the whole group at GRAPH is just an all-around great crew. It was a true pleasure to work with everyone at GRAPH, and it's no doubt the thing I'll miss most.

Cons

One downside is the workload. Based on the demanding nature of the work, hours can sometimes be longer, and that's not for everyone. That said, work/life balance is at least on-par/better at GRAPH than at other similar firms.

Pros

Great people who are very collaborative and eager to learn/teach. Everyone is willing to help one another out and pitch in. Emphasis on integrity and shaping analyses around data/inputs collected by the team and not pre-determined hypotheses. Flatter structure and entrepreneurial firm culture offers opportunity to be a thought partner (internally and on projects) and for room to grow. You are able to have many varied work opportunities since projects span a wide range of industries and the work is fast-paced.

Cons

Workload can be demanding/unpredictable, though that’s common in this industry and there is generally a focus on work-life balance from most team leaders Growing pains associated w/ rapid growth

Pros

-Partners and managers lead through encouragement and positive reinforcement making for a positive consulting environment -Work that clients truly pay attention to and use to make tough decisions -Visible ownership of work: Consultants' and Associates' role as the drivers of Voice of Customer interviews is communicated to clients, and Consultants are encouraged to speak up and present to clients regardless of seniority -Opportunities to work on a lot of different topics for both Fortune 100 and PE clients -Integrity of analysis: consultants at GRAPH carry out a true research process based on primary research - we are NEVER asked to fit our analysis into predetermined story lines that are not backed by evidence -Partners put a lot of thought into internal processes, marketing, business development, etc. when they started GRAPH, which has made for smooth internal processes as the company has grown -Fast growing company -Competitive benefits in terms of health insurance, compensation, retirement, and vacation time

Cons

- Growing pains of a small company, but partners do a great job communicating to us what we can realistically expect and the thought process behind the decisions they make -Hours can be long and unpredictable similar to any consulting job, but low frequency of travel and flexibility to work at home at night makes it a lot more manageable
