Pros

Colleagues are mostly nice, some of them are very rude. You speak to your colleagues over the phone or email, some colleagues who don't work in office will treat you like nothing. You can get free water, and one hour unpaid break. It's really difficult to think some pros...

Cons

Heavy work. When you sit down you need to work continuously all the day. UNPAID overwork is common in here, if you are a responsible person you just stay in office and keep working, managers will not thank you. Micro management. CEO will send you email to tell if you don't work hard you will be instead by AI, and you are paid so lowly. Not responsible colleagues. Your clients beg you to transfer phone call to someone who is in charge of that case, as they are so desperate to find a solution. But your colleagues will just tell you they are busy and they will send email to clients. Uneven workload. When you work very heavily, some of your colleagues just sit in the office and chat with everyone. Managers speak to people differently, they have their preference to treat people unequally.

Pros

Great team (most no longer there) and head of department (who quit shortly after I did).

Cons

Limited decision making in terms of design and branding direction, lots of mundane work.

Pros

Learnt so much in this job and continue to have the freedom to learn and grow without being micromanaged. Management are really fair and reasonable and I really enjoy working with our clients on purchasing and selling their property. Worked in lots of different departments within the company so have had the opportunity to find an area that suited me best and like the fact that the company really care about the service they give to clients as i have a really hard work ethic so it feels appreciated when management and clients can see that too.

Cons

It is hard if you are not an organised person, you need to be on top of your files and be very type A about everything. You can’t afford to slack off because this is a job that requires your attention or else if you make a mistake you could be impacting someone’s purchase or sale which is the biggest purchase someone will make in life. You need to be a switched on person and if you are not, then it will get picked up quickly, either by the client or the work that you present so if you are not capable of staying motivated, disciplined and focused then you will fall behind and let the rest of your team down too. My role is to make the solicitors job easier, carry out tasks efficiently and give a great service which means I have to work confidently at all times.
