Low ball pay compared to the area average, too abrupt delegation of duties for new hires, putting a person in the first month that does not have much formal experience with systems that affect company's financials and bottom line, lack of formal training, lack of formal documentation of company procedures, low company support for IT department, lack of IT department organization standards, a bit too hands off from management, cramped IT work spaces and cramped offices, lack of appreciation of work load, no compensations for overtime worked or merit system for working over, lack of formal prioritization structure from management or flakey prioritization structure, vague job title in comparison to formal responsibilites and no formal job description of duties offered during hire on, bad work/life balance specifically for IT
