Pros
The ability to work remote.
Cons
Constant changes, layoffs, added workload and stress because of layoffs, no flexibility, below average pay, no stability, no opportunities for advancement. The company is going under and management does not care about their internal employees that keep the company running. After two major layoffs (September 2023 and January 2024 - about 40 employees each time) my team was constantly reassured that our jobs were safe and that we were essential and exceptional employees that they couldn’t not get rid of and that we were “family”. Then surprise surprise, another big layoff last month left another 44 people without jobs with no warning. They cut our entire “essential” department and effectively broke any trust remaining with the employees that are still there. It’s only a matter of time until they’re completely out of business.
