In a lot of ways, the company acts like it cares about its employees--personal loans, lunch catered, good salaries. It attempted to get the best talent, which provided a great working environment where one could really grow with all the knowledge and diversity. The work was really interesting, and on the surface, seemed revolutionary in the healthcare industry.

Management thinks that its employees are naive. They think they can hide the company's stability. They play with the emotions and morale of their employees by having serveral layoffs in a short period of time, e.g. one per month. There is no really product direction. Management fails to see that without a direction, you do not have a company.
