Pros

Not many. Benefits were decent.

Cons

It was basically a start up that had gained some traction with its product, and never gave up being a start up. Sort of a frantic search for more and more customers. This meant chaotic and unrealistic demands, which led to a less than ideal work environment. I even remember them releasing new features that simply didn't work. I guess the bet is it looks good on paper, and maybe most customers won't really use them so it would go unnoticed. It got noticed. When I came on board they were expanding by hiring a lot of people. From what I've heard of late, they've dramatically cut down their work force. They got a new CEO and CTO, so I can't say anything about them. The old ones simply had no desire to listen to us plebes. They were in their own bubble. I guess it worked out for them. They got their money while treating employees with little real respect. Maybe I should say the Product Managers were treated with little respect (by the way, I wasn't one). They came and went out the door pretty quickly. I think top level management simply abused them to get things done, and I know a couple cases where they were scapegoated for the overall poor management and unrealistic expectations of the former CEO and CTO.

Pros

Mersive is in an exciting stage of growth, with a clear focus on innovation and pushing new products into the market. The company has recently taken on a new direction that feels strategic and forward-looking, with leadership emphasizing technology that better serves modern workplaces. There’s a strong sense of collaboration across teams, and the work environment encourages new ideas and problem-solving.

Cons

Like any company evolving in a competitive tech space, there are growing pains and adjustments to new priorities. Communication around change could be more consistent at times, but leadership seems receptive to feedback.
