Despite a recent shakeup at the executive level, the direction looks clear for a majority of the business units within Messari. There was a period of a couple months where this was murky and communications ultimately weren't strong; but the correct changes appear to have been made. With that now in the rearview, Messari still stands in an increasingly competitive side of the industry; but the tools and reputation allow for Messari to remain at the top as long as they continue to execute well.

Not much to say here.

There is a lot of turnover across all teams. The product and eng. team calls the shots on everything, which leads to business decisions made by unqualified people in matters unrelated to their department. They also put unqualified people to lead departments. Very much a bro/frat culture with a lot of ego and little experience. The company seems to hang on the edge with little growth in sight. A lot of attention is focused on building things users never asked for.
