Pros

It was a job. Reasonably close to my house. Made some great friends who worked there as well as lots of awesome contacts in the wireless industry.

Cons

Having spoken with former MetaGeek employees (there are a lot of us) over the last few years, as well as a current employee still at the company, sounds like things there never change. Very strange environment to work in. Compensation not as good as compared to what is offered from about anywhere else--without having to deal with all the crazy. Lots of blame thrown around by management to every level of employee as well as passive aggressive actions towards workers while hiding behind a saccharine culture.

Pros

MetaGeek has a great culture. They really care about their employees and are absolutely willing to work around a school schedule.

Cons

Direction can be sometimes contradicting between leaders and feedback isn't always as forth coming as it could be.

Pros

MetaGeek loves its employees. They support you in pursuing your professional ambitions, and are willing to invest in your education and training. They also pay very well and have great benefits.

Cons

There is constant change in the "big thing" internally. Lots of ideas are tried to improve performance, but nothing is ever really seen through long enough to find out whether it works. They don't do a very good job of defining performance goals for employees, so most people aren't sure where they stand.
