I have been with Micro-Tech Americas for many years, During that time I have had the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a very special company. Special in terms of its contributions to healthcare (innovative medical devices with clinical and economic benefits), but perhaps moreso, special in its culture. Micro-Tech has always had a family feel, and even though it is grown rapidly in the last several years, that closeness remains. It is supported with a top-down commitment to empowerment, accountability, and integrity. This may sound like a catch phrase but it is true. At times I yearn for the old days when we were smaller, yet I am also very proud and excited at how we've grown and the ongoing journey that we're on. We are a larger company today, but we are closely-aligned and united in our efforts to be better every day.
Cons
MT has never had an official US/Americas HQ, in the traditional sense. We have our operations facility in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but the majority of the employees work remotely. We do our best to bring our personnel together for regional and company-wide gatherings, but they are not as frequent as other companies with a central office/campus. If that is important to you, then take it under consideration when evaluating Micro-Tech for employment.
