Pros

MicroConstants is a great place to grow with. The company has a family culture feel to it and offers excellent opportunities to be challenged and build lasting friendships. There is also growth opportunities within your department or across departments, depending on your interest. Express your interest to your manager to have them start setting things up for you behind the scenes. There is a lot of work to be done in all departments but I continue to enjoy the challenge because it has given me the opportunity to acquire new skills and wealth of knowledge that I can now share with newcomers. Trust exist both ways, every employee rely on each other to watch each others back. Method developers, upper management, HR and QA have always been super helpful and approachable. If you are looking for a place where we work hard, have each others back and party hard...MC is the place for you.

Cons

Company culture is strong, now invest heavily in employee engagement by providing proper training and competitive salaries.

Pros

It's a small company, so you get the opportunity to wear many hats. When you begin, you are trained on everything you need to know to succeed -take notes. Eventually, at this level, if you are competent you are: training others, taking on multiple projects with various deadlines, writing reports, adhering to GLP, fixing instruments, etc. This is good to learn strong work ethic. People who support you will try their best to help in all groups-QA,QC Project management, R&D, etc. Celebrations are the time to relax, but other than that, you are grinding away to meet deadlines. The people you work with become good friends, so they make things tolerable.

Cons

Eventually, taking on these responsibilities can be draining with no foreseeable way of moving up the ladder with proper compensation. They will work you until you are dry. Hopefully, you have tried to learn as much as you can and will have moved on. Very high turnover, but management does nothing to address this issue.
