Pros
1. Hard work, commitment and problem-solving skills are noticed and rewarded. 2. MicroMain management is not afraid of change. There is a continuous search for the best tools and methods needed to attain our goals. I have the opportunity to learn and expand my skillset by using today’s tools. 3. There is an opportunity for career advancement. I’ve observed a number of people who have received promotions as a result of their efforts (see #1). 4. Part of how I measure my personal career goal attainment is by making a contribution that impacts the company’s goals and growth. I’m not a grain of sand on the beach at MicroMain; I clearly see the fruits of my labor. 5. The monthly company gatherings are great because the people are great – and many of them are great cooks, ready and willing to cook for the rest of us.
Cons
May not be a good fit for people who aren’t willing to embrace change and a continuous improvement focused culture.
