- Some B2B sales experience. Although, it does not seem to be respected within the industry or other industries - If you make it into their inner circle, rules won’t apply to you. Show up late, refuse to cold call, don’t follow rules of engagement
Cons
- Sales team is constantly attacked for underachieving in a less than favorable market. The team has a few mainstays, but otherwise expect to be let go for not developing new business (something not even C-suite executives at this company are capable of). - You keep a spot at this company by being well liked. I’ve witness multiple top performers fired because management disagreed with them - Management does nothing themselves while breathing down your neck - New ideas are met with criticism because old ideas are tied to the ego of management - Only a few reps make good money. The rest scrounge for scraps in a dying market - Unprofessional work environment…I’ll leave it at that
