      Pros

      A lot of opportunities to cover a range of topics from breaking news to business to oil to renewables to remote travel areas. They will give you opportunities if you work really hard to keep pushing them.

      Cons

      Through no fault of its own, stuck in Midland, Texas. Management rules by fiat. problems with coverage, and energy coverage is lacking. Little to no responsibility is taken by management for what they say or do, and online is not a priority.

      Pros

      I loved the relaxed, yet fast-paced environment. Management treated you as a person, not a number. Very accommodating, family-oriented good place to live.

      Cons

      Sometimes there was not enough time between roll-out and fruition for a project to be successful. Training could be more thorough.
