We were in the weeds for months because of a product failure. Tens of thousands of mikus stopped powering on properly and we were left dealing with the unhappy customers. The best part - they waited WEEKS before making a statement to customers about this issue with their product failure. We are not dealing with just any product here, its a baby monitor people trust to watch their newborns. They were replaced at no cost but our workload multiplied exponentially. When things started to calm down, Johann sent an all hands meeting invite at 1 AM (super professional, right? Apparently this is the norm for him, sending emails between midnight and 4 AM). within a few minutes of the all hands meeting we were told everyone on this call was terminated effective immediately. I second what a previous review said - they did this intentionally to have to avoid the WARN act. We were left with no severance and if you are in a state that doesn't require PTO payout like me, then you are just SOL.
