Steady work. You learn a lot more about the job you're hired for. They put a premium on Editors and Assistant Editors. They make sure that AEs know EVERYTHING and are very technical which is very good. When I'm looking for AEs, I look for the people I worked with at 51 Minds because they know the ins and outs and are very technical.
Cons
Pay isn't that great. Everyone gets worked to the bone to the point of mental exhaustion. Some shifts would end when the sun was starting to come back up to start a new day. Sometimes they would be too cheap to pay for something to get done right and hope and pray that their AEs would get it right instead. It's lead to show QCs getting kicked back.
