It used to be remote-only but the new CTO asked everybody to come in office. For an out-of-state employee like me, it was difficult to provide visibility to my work to the new CTO which happened have zero sense of humor and does not care about people at all! He had some favorites and hated everybody else! all of those non-favorite either left, or got laid off or in the queue for the next round of lay off!
