I have been with Mokriya for several years and find it an excellent place to work. The pay is good, the work is generally interesting, and I have had the opportunity to expand well beyond my initial skill set, developing into areas I had only passing familiarity with. Management is accommodating, considerate, and helpful. Because Mokriya is a consulting firm, there is a wide variety of projects available, but this is a double-edged sword. Some projects can be boring or stressful or involve troublesome clients. This is more the exception than the rule. Communication at a remote company requires greater effort because coworkers are not in close proximity. This can create difficulty if not handled correctly and cause unnecessary confusion. We mostly handle this well at Mokriya, but it has been a pain point in some cases.

The company's leadership and culture is founded on trust. Since the company is 100% remote, employees have complete autonomy and flexibility. The expectation is that you get your work done on time – how or where it gets done doesn't matter. From the CEO down, everyone trusts each other. Mokriya hires the very best and brightest, and then gives them the autonomy to work as effectively as possible. Mokriya embodies the future of remote work and is an excellent company to be a part of.

Sometimes it gets a little lonely working remotely. At times, communication can be a little bit fragmented. That being said, I've never seen a company as effective as Mokriya at communicating across borders and time zones. Just part of the territory.
