Pros

The lack of structure may appeal to those in hourly or commission-based roles.

Cons

Decision-making is concentrated in a single off-site owner rather than on-site leadership. Operations are directed quietly and remotely by one individual, limiting the authority of on-site leaders and undermining execution across the organization. If you're knowledgeable in your field and highly productive, expect interference from the absentee owner on side projects, without a corresponding adjustment to job duties or compensation. Pushing back on scope-creep will upset this individual and may result in termination without warning. The result is a company constantly taking one step forward and two steps back. HR moves slowly, and documentation was not provided despite multiple written requests. The department is structured to protect the company rather than support employees.

Pros

I had a fun summer working with these guys. The work they had me doing was a little tedious by nature, but that is to be expected in an internship, and I didn't mind because I was having a great time working there. Everyone was warm, inviting, and most importantly seemed to care about my future and getting me trained in Commercial Real Estate. The parking is included, in an attached garage, they reimburse your gas and parking tickets, and really just take care of the employees.

Cons

Only negative thing that comes to mind, and its a really minor detail, is that the culture among the tenant reps was a bit macho, which doesn't bother me because I'm a guy but if you're a girl I can see how it would be a little annoying.
