Pros

Good work life balance, but some take advantage of it

Cons

If you’re a hard worker, you’re going to hate it there. Several employees don’t make hours and it seems that nobody cares. Some operators work really hard, others are on a smoke or coffee break every half hour. At least half of the office staff is chatting or scrolling on their phone all day. You’ll get promoted and overpaid if you’ve got unearned confidence and can fool the right people. You don’t need an MBA to see bad decisions consistently being made. Nepotism and old boys club are king here, “Moog values” are a total joke.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We regret to hear that you have had a negative experience with us. What you describe is not what we strive for. At Moog, our top priority is taking care of our employees and creating a positive, supportive working environment and it’s unfortunate that you have experienced behaviors that are inconsistent with these values. We always want to ensure that the work is getting done and the workload is shared amongst teammates. In order to encourage openness and transparency, Moog has always operated with an Open Door Policy. Employees have the opportunity to approach any leader to discuss an idea, issue, or problem. We encourage you to speak with your manager or HR Representative regarding strategies to improve. Thank you again for leaving a review. Pros

The company has a bit of a startup-like vibe, and still feels established. They’re pretty open to letting younger engineers take on real responsibility , which makes it a good place to grow. From what I’ve seen in all-hands meetings, the senior leadership also seems to genuinely care about employees—you can kind of tell they’re paying attention and trying to take care of the team.

Cons

There’s nothing perfect, enjoy the time when you get in.

Pros

Good Health Benefits, and 401K

Cons

Although Moog promotes an unlimited PTO policy and emphasizes work-life balance, the actual execution is highly inconsistent and depends heavily on management. Some managers are supportive, while others induce guilt, leading to a culture where employees either underutilize their time or feel uncertain about expectations. Furthermore, compensation lags behind the market average, and internal career growth feels stagnant rather than actively supported.
