Pros

It’s in Tacoma and free parking in the small lot or on the street. They have some fleet cars so you might not have to use your own. They provide a laptop and a key card to the building.

Cons

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anybody if have empathy or compassion for people. This company does not provide any training whatsoever. I worked with people who were blind and I received no training whatsoever on how to support them. I had to do my own research off hours to learn about what those individuals need and what I can do to increase their Skill sets to find a job. They provide no training whatsoever. The training videos they make you watch are four years old and don’t apply to current processes. But you will be held accountable for all of the things I’ve said with no training. You will have to interact with the parents of these individuals who need your support, and you will have to lie to their face about the fact that you were going to find their child a job . Again, no training. This company does not offer the same services to their employees as they do to their clients. This organization will work you into the ground and drill down on making sure your time card doesn’t go over 40 even though you definitely worked more. They will not support your work life balance and give you a key card because no one will be there at the end of the day when you’re done. If you have to use your own vehicle because you didn’t reserve it three weeks in advance, because administrators want to go check the mail and buy Starbucks using a fleet car during the day, you will have to use your own vehicle. You will not be fully reimbursed-half the mileage rate and you are not given a stipend for using your vehicle. In fact, I drove over 500 miles before I was provided one paycheck and had to work for Uber after work to get the gas money for the next day. If you approach HR to ask them for a reduction in work because you are having medical issues, they will take months before they respond to create an accommodation. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and since I left most of the people I worked with have either left voluntarily or have been pushed out. It would be great if Executives would stop taking selfies with the disabled to post on social and instead get out there and do some of the work themselves to see how their people are being treated in the restaurants or fast food establishments that they are being placed in. These human beings deserve better, but they are not receiving that support because the mission is to make Morningside look good not really help people but they don’t really. Especially not their employees. They do not have any pull with the state and you will wait for months trying to get paperwork to be processed for your client while you’re constantly being told to tell them, everything is fine and it will work out. Side note: having employees sign paperwork with improper dates or information is completely unprofessional.
