Stepping Stone at the absolute "best" - Technical Recruiter Morton Employee Review

Pros

Gain Technical Recruiter skills then get out. There are always M&Ms avail to enjoy. The recruiters are servants and bond over the stressful working environment so at least you'll have friends...

Cons

Numbers game, commanding 'bullying' management style - leaving recruiters feeling uncomfortable, inadequate, sad or angry. Unfair work place; there are privileges for being an Account Manager, but they give incentive goals for the recruiter to earn the same privileges as the AM. They promise privileges/benefits working for a small-business but in the end you do not see these benefits if you don't meet outlandish goals and if you're not an AM. The list continues, but I do not recommend you take the opportunity to find out by applying to the company.

Pros

A pay check and health insurance.

Cons

Job description did not match the actual role or responsibilities Extreme micromanagement—time tracked down to the minute, with comments even for leaving a minute early Lack of trust in employees and a control-focused management style Inconsistent policies around remote work—approved in theory but discouraged or denied in practice Concerning hiring practices, including openly stating a preference to hire a female candidate for “diversity” Questionable fairness and professionalism in decision-making High turnover—the longest-tenured employee has only been there around three years
