- Bad management is allowed to stay. One of the Department heads regularly effed and blinded in anger as and when it pleased them. Caught it once when I went for a meeting one day, only to be told it was a regular occurrence. Heard them referred to by quite a few people as ‘a ticking time bomb’. - IT Department regularly gate-kept information from other departments. Had a couple people there who were reputed for being pretty unapproachable. Confusing as I thought we were all working towards the same goal in the company - Awful old boys club culture with a few of the managers who had been working there since their younger years - In one of the departments, two spouses worked together, one being the head of department. Not an unhealthy environment with potential for bias at all - Very nasty, almost high school-like, behaviour from some of the employees. Could not believe some of the things I saw tolerated - In all my years I have never witnessed such an underhand ousting of a senior manager/director As someone else said, you really do not realise how toxic the place is until you leave the environment. I think one of the HR directors tried to do some culture work - they left after 8 months.
