Pros

It's a decent place to get your foot in the tech industry if you are into worship music. Just take it for what it is, get some experience as quickly as you can and then get out - this is a great place for your career to stall out if you let it.

Cons

Pay is typically 35 - 45%, sometimes 50% below market. No real job training, exposure to other areas of interest (cross-training) or mentorship. They have monthly 1:1's on paper, but they are largely useless and they ask the same questions over and over that have nothing to do with career growth. Teams are disjointed, and led by people who frankly don't appear to know what they are doing. Performance metrics often don't make sense, or are spread across so many different job duties to render them useless - typically because most people are performing 2-3 different job titles Culture of toxic positivity, "we're a family" etc. You'll do yourself a favor by remembering that you only work there. Feedback and ideas are quickly sidestepped or dismissed. Discussions about job opportunities or raises are dismissed just as quickly. If you do get a promotion, it will likely be a "dry promotion" meaning you get additional responsibilities for little or no additional pay during an extended "probationary period" while you perform job duties you have been for months - basically allowing them to underpay people even more than usual.

I had a great experience interning at multitracks.com the team is amazing and everyone is very supportive of your professional development.

Cons

If you are in central Austin then the location is a con but I think the company culture and professional development make up for this.
