Intense but no sense - Project Manager My Learning Hub Employee Review

The team is super friendly and nice, I had an opportunity to meet them all on a business trip only a week after starting my job at My Learning Hub. The co-founders are down-to-earth but ambitious guys who are very easy to speak to about anything idea- or problem-wise. Even when feeling unwell or challenged mentally, I am always supported as a person, not just an employee. Decision-making is inclusive of other opinions and open to voices within the company, no matter the position. As an employee, you can wear different hats if it's important to you participating in initiatives and processes beyond your direct job role, which is a great learning curve.

As expected in a startup of this size and growth stage, there's an issue with operational processes and structure. But it has been addressed this year by external consultants and relevant software integration. Plus, when meeting any challenges, the founders make it easy to raise these questions with them and try to resolve them the best they can.

- Although there is a kitchen, unfortunately, no microwave. Prices in the city are not cheap so it would be nice to have one to heat up your own food. I head it used to be there but removed due to H&S. - There is a high demand for the services this company offers but at times not enough recourses meet that demand. The company will need to invest more into hiring more staff.
