Great way to enter the telecommunications space with a great team - Technician NETRIO Employee Review

Pros

With aptitude, this company will be a great place to enter the work space with something to prove. You constantly strive to make the clients happy and strive vigorously to accomplish a easy to manage list of clients and ticketing software. The management maintained a high level of integrity and would reinforce its employees even when a customer was irate (not at the fault of the technicians) and would always support the staff.

Cons

I was not aware of the extent of familiarity with all clients products and services that I would be responsible for managing. With support from the team this was no longer an issue with hard work and diligence.

Pros

You get a paycheck most of the time.

Cons

The company has no real direction, no local management, and clearly is there to siphon as much money out of the purchased companies as possible, then sell once done. There is no culture, no employee support, no training, no HR department. Clients are continually upset because a parent company based out of Minneapolis prevents the Buffalo office from having any agency. They understaff all the offices in order to keep profit margins higher. They promote people to management positions with zero actual IT experience - only experience is in professional middle management. They are currently avoiding paying out my remaining wages after firing me over something completely fabricated as grounds for termination, while keeping other staff around who have encountered the same, if not worse, issues than what they quoted letting me go over. I have filed a formal complaint about the company to the Department of Labor over this. Human Resources are outsourced to an office in Ireland, where they incorrectly setup an entire office's taxes, entirely leaving out NYPFL and Disability. If I could give this company negative stars, I would. Only gave a 5 for diversity and inclusion because they technically will hire from anywhere, including outsourcing development to India in order to cut costs hiring and paying developers from The States.
