Pros

The work can be fun and engaging. Having conversations with students and building connections is very rewarding. You also learn alot about Japanese culture. The company also reimburses your travel expenses which is nice.

Cons

The biggest drawback for working at this company is the management. The managers I've worked with were excessively orderly and micromanaged everything. They are often rude and negative. In fact, the managers I had would give more negative reinforcement than posititve reinforcement. Some other negative experiences about one of the managers I had was that they would constantly lie and never take accountability. They were not helpful and they never liked to answer questions. I could never rely on my manager for help, I was better off asking other teachers for help instead.

Pros

Easy way to get a visa sponsorship to live in Japan.

Cons

Terrible pay for one and they have pretty bad contracts that manly help themselves, but disadvantages you as an employee or contractor. if you pick the employee contact you'll get paid 800 yen per hour which is very low and is under minimum wage in Tokyo. whatever you do, don't let them give you a place to stay. As for the contractor role you'll get better pay but if the staff or students don't like you they'll cut your lessons and give them to another employee or contactor. they'll mostly give the lessons to an employee because he is cheaper and by immigration law he is guarantied work.
