Pros

The capabilities of the product are impressive and it is nice to work with some of the brightest minds in the industry. The possibility of working remotely and at any time (but now many companies offer it).

Cons

It is unfortunate that despite being a totally remote company, the company culture is not their priority. That's why the most qualified and productive team members are constantly leaving. They usually don't care if the person is bad at their job, they only care if it's someone they can yell at because they know the person will stay because they won't find work elsewhere. The communication from the management is very passive-aggressive. Also, TIME DOESN'T EXIST at nxlog. People are always late to the meetings or don't let you know in advance that they will not attend which is very disrespectful and I don't remember any project, task, or release that was completed on time. (Micromanagement is insane) The onboarding process like any other process in the company is very bad. I don't think there is even a process for it and if there is no one follows it. They briefly show you the product, tell you about their stack, and throw you into the first meeting of their calendar without properly introducing you to the rest of the team. All of this in the first two days and that's it... good luck! The constant monitoring is also insane and they don't have any initiative for interactions/communication with other team members despite being a 100% remote company. Any small talk/chat is considered a waste of "time", so be careful, they are monitoring you! Salaries are also bad and they don't offer any good company benefits or perks. There are no career opportunities, so you will never grow there (unless you're Hungarian). The company doesn't offer you good tools to perform your job, so you'll have to waste a lot of time creating workarounds and it is very difficult to convince them to spend on a new tool that will improve many aspects, as you will have to prove that it is worth every penny. And as I mentioned before, since TIME IS NOT A THING in nxlog, then time does not count as a reason.
