      Pros

      The best things about working at NCTL are the work we're doing, the people we do it with and the spirit that we can get it done. NCTL is the leader in its field by far and away. And the organization has really high standards

      Cons

      The nature of the work -- trying to improve public schools in America through adding learning time is hard stuff. This isn't really a con because it's what makes the work worthwhile. It's just that it's hard to do. You have to have patience and take the long view

      Very supportive of the schools that they work with on a daily basis. Knowledgeable, smart, data driven organization. Supportive leadership and colleagues are outgoing and fun. Training is useful, and access to key people is always available.

      Competitive with all education organizations - can be stressful
